DESCRIPTION
Evaporative device for volatile substances.
The present invention relates to a volatile substance evaporator device, which comprises a heat emitter that evaporates volatile substances contained in a refill.
Background of the invention
Devices that contain candles that ignite the flame and activate a set of lights are well known in the market. Typically, these devices act by means of a light detector and on a few occasions by a heat detector.
The lights on these types of devices allow users to check at a glance that the evaporator device is in operation.
In known evaporator devices, the position of this sensor is below the position of the candle. When the aforementioned configuration is defined, especially if they use heat detectors, there is a drawback as a consequence of the thermal inertia of the system.
These devices work by activating the lights once a certain temperature has been reached in the heat detector. This means that the consumer has to wait a few minutes, after having lit the candle to observe how the set of lights is lit.
Therefore, the need for an evaporator device in which the indications are activated almost immediately when a candle is lit is evident.
Description of the invention
With the evaporator device of the invention, the aforementioned drawbacks are resolved, presenting other advantages that will be described below.
The volatile substance evaporator device according to the present invention comprises a heat source that evaporates volatile substances from a replacement, a heat detector, which can detect the heat from said heat source, and indicating means connected to said heat detector. heat, which emit an indication when the heat detector detects heat from said heat source, and is characterized in that said heat detector is placed above said heat source.
For example, the heat detector is placed at a distance between 5 mm and 20 mm from the heat source.
Advantageously, said heat detector is arranged in a cantilever portion placed on said heat source.
According to a preferred embodiment, said heat detector is a thermistor, said replacement is a candle and said heat source is a flame.
Furthermore, preferably said indicator means comprise at least one light emitter, such as one or more light emitting diodes (LEDs), or a sound emitter, or the like.
In addition, said heat detector and said indicating means are advantageously

connected to one or more batteries.
According to a preferred embodiment, said heat detector and said indicating means are connected to a microprocessor, so that said indicating means is activated, or emits an indication, when the microprocessor receives a signal from the heat detector and determines a heat increase of at least 1 ° C per second.
With the volatile substances evaporating device according to the present invention it is possible to achieve that the indicator means are activated practically simultaneously with the placement of the heat emitter, that is, when the candle flame is lit, in accordance with the embodiment preferred. This is achieved thanks to the proximity of the heat detector to said heat emitter.
Brief description of the drawings
For a better understanding of how much has been exposed, some drawings are attached in which, schematically and only by way of non-limiting example, a practical case of realization is represented.
Figure 1 is a perspective view of the evaporator device for volatile substances according to the present invention; Y
Figure 2 is an elevational view of the evaporator device for volatile substances according to the present invention sectioned.
Description of a preferred embodiment
The evaporator device according to the present invention comprises a housing 1 for a replacement, for example a candle 2 provided with a wick 3, and a heat detector 4, for example, a thermistor.
This heat detector 4 is located in an elevated position just above a heat source 5, for example a flame that ignites the wick 3 of said candle 2. According to the embodiment shown, said heat detector 4 is placed in a cantilever portion 6 of the device, as can be seen in the figures. This position is adequate to detect the heat coming from the flame.
For example, the heat detector 4 is placed at a distance between 5 mm and 20 mm from the heat source 5.
In addition, the evaporating device according to the present invention also comprises indicating means, for example, at least one light emitter 7, such as one or more light emitting diodes (LEDs), which emit light of one or more colors, which they allow the user to see at a glance if heat source 5 is active or not.
It should be noted that said indicating means could also be sound emitting means, such as a loudspeaker that plays a melody.
According to the embodiment shown, said heat detector 4 and said LED 7 are connected to a microprocessor (not shown in the figures), so that said LED 7 lights up when the microprocessor receives a signal from heat detector 4 and is determines a heat increase of at least 1 ° C per second.
In the event that the microprocessor determines a temperature increase of less than 1 ° C per second, it will then send a signal to LED 7 to turn it off.
Preferably, the at least one light emitter 7 is powered by one or more batteries 8, although it could also be connected to the electric current or any suitable energy source.
As is evident the material of the device according to the present invention is suitable for withstanding high temperatures and being close to a flame. In addition, if desired, it can be of a transparent or translucent material.
10 Although reference has been made to a specific embodiment of the invention, it is apparent to one skilled in the art that the described evaporator device is susceptible to numerous variations and modifications, and that all the mentioned details can be replaced by others technically equivalent, without departing from the scope of protection defined by the appended claims.
